It's always a good idea to get the leak inspected by a professional mechanic and fixed sooner—before it leads to much more significant or costly damage. Identify the Fluid The first step is to identify the leaking fluid. Is it motor oil, radiator coolant, brake fluid, power steering fluid, transmission fluid, gasoline/diesel or something else?
