Customer Comes to Simard Automotive for an Oil Change, Leaves with a New Battery Cable

Jason needed to get a routine oil change done on his car. He asked around for recommendations and a friend of his suggested Simard Automotive. After bringing his car in for the service, he soon realized that this shop is about more than doing only the "routine" work. We always aim to go the extra mile for our customers.

"Very good place!" Jason writes in his online review. "I got referred by a friend and I went to go get my oil changed. To my surprise, they even changed the battery cable that had been loose and was falling off the battery. I didn't expect that but I really appreciated it!"

Whether we're performing major repairs or standard maintenance services at Simard Automotive, our goal is to always look over key parts of the vehicle to make sure everything is in good shape. Certain things like tires, brakes, fluid levels, windshield wipers, batteries, belts and hoses are always worth getting checked out with any service visit. If we find problems, we will let you know because we want you to know if there is a concern.

In Jason's case, the ASE Certified auto repair technicians of Simard Automotive noticed that one of the battery cables was loose and showed some damage. We went ahead and replaced it while completing the oil change. Something as simple as a loose battery cable or corroded battery connection can lead to much worse damage if left alone. It only seemed right to fix it for Jason, while also giving him a full report on anything else we found during the inspection.

"They even sent me an inspection report to my email that I used to help sell my car!" adds Jason. "This is an honest business that goes above and beyond. I would definitely make them my car care provider."
