I chose Simard because it had the best reviews locally, and I can firmly say the reviews don't lie! Everyone was kind, courteous, and they got my car in the same day and out the next. We had a coolant issue, and they gave me a breakdown in the form of a very easily readable 30-point inspection that detailed what was good, what would need preventative maintenance, and what needed to be fixed right now. Our car is running beautifully, and they were so kind. Love Simard, our go-to automotive place in the future for sure! :)

And the saga of ALEX2 continues with a call from Cat where I went into detail about all the problems "he's" been having. I told her that I wanted you guys to take out any electrical cords, etc that aren't Stuttgard Factory 1991 , cause that's where "he was born". The GREMLIN is the nephew of the original owner, never met her or him, but because she left the Owner's Manual and the Maintenance Record, I know she took IMMACULATE CARE OF THIS BEAUTIFUL CAR while she lived. The nephew inherited it and BASTARDIZED IT WITH AFTER MARKET ELECTRICAL CRAP that has plagued me ever since!! Cat emailed me the 30 Point Inspection and after reviewing it, I wanted to make sure that all the Preventive Maintenance was done now not later. I wanted a "Brand New Car" I came to pick " him" up on 8/9/19, the radio still wasn't working and I arranged to bring "him" back in on 8/13/19 to work on that problem. While driving "him" home I blew the fuses for the horn and blinkers, leaving me defenseless because I'm the most defensive and stealthy driver around. I parked "him" until then. Drove carefully to the 8/13/19 appointment, cause it was raining and I was defenseless, my dog and I walked over to the Riverboat to spend 2 hours or so waiting to get "him" fixed. When we returned and dried off, Cat told me what you had found, "he" needed new fuses and two new horns, and" boy" are they "powerful", the horns! I had also asked to look under the hood at all the new things there and get acquainted with them, which Cat did very well. Still having problems with the radio, but I hope I can work with you to solve this problem. I feel very comfortable bringing "My Baby, ALEX2" in here and this will be the place I will have any future maintenance done. You're my new Car Dr for my Mercedes. Everyone treated me great and I love that the office staff is so friendly and helpful and I will certainly recommend you to anyone looking for an automotive maintenance shop. You are a jewel in the crown of the Golden Heart City.

A couple of weeks ago I finally decided that I would go to Mike's Chevron, after seeing their TV commercial with Mike and his granddaughter talking about getting the "Benz" in for some work. I own a 1991 Mercedes 420 SEL(never called him a Benz, the car's name is ALEX2) that has been possessed by a GREMLIN, the "monster' not the car, since the day I bought it Used in June of 2015. I went over to Mike's and explained all the problems I've been having with it and they didn't want to take it, BUT they suggested I go to Simard's, which I did, first here at the Gaffney branch where I spoke with Brad who remembered me when he used to work at Mike's and I had come in to get nitrogen in the tires of ALEX2 and later shorten the valve stems.
